Onsite fabrication allows us to tailor design, achieving optimum comfort and function with the latest technology, including prosthetics, orthotics, and foot orthotics products.
We are a leader on Vancouver Island with full-service practices in Nanaimo and Comox and satellite clinics in Duncan and Campbell River.

History
When returning to Toronto via Vancouver after working in New Zealand, Bryan attended the World Expo of 1986 and visited Vancouver Island. Following his visit and enjoying the pristine lakes and mountain vistas he decided this was where he wanted to be.
BD Mitchell P & O opened its doors in 1990, providing prosthetic services to the mid and upper island region.
BD Mitchell P & O has expanded over the years to include orthotic and pedorthic services.
BD Mitchell P & O now has two physical locations – Nanaimo and Comox and provides services to other communities with satellite clinics in Duncan, Parksville, Campbell River, Powell River and Port Hardy.
With the increase in staff and expertise BD Mitchell P & O provides a wide range of services to people of all ages and abilities.
